Mid-year Update: Mid-year Review/Survey

Hello lovely bookworms and planner babes!

July is literally 3 days away and while its Bookending Summer month, which you should hop on over to Clo’s blog post: Bookending Summer 2019 Announcement and sign up to be part of a fantastic event; it’s also my mid-year!

I started this bookish blog in February of this year (wow….I feel like I blinked and time flew by) as a new years’ resolution. I needed something new in my life that would help me get creative again and ever since I joined this wonderful community, I’ve had the joy of sharing a love for books and planners with like-minded people. Not to mention, meet extraordinary book bloggers who are masters at this craft.

As July is my mid-year, I reviewed all my blog stats until now;

My views have gone up in the last 5 months as have my visitors. March, I had a severe slump and honestly I feel like it was due to the fact that I had no bearings on what I was doing. 😂 April was really the month when I started to get a hang of things. Doing the BeSpring event helped so much as far as breaking the ice, getting into the habit of blog hoping, as well as interacting with other bookish bloggers.

It was interesting to see that Sunday is my most popular day, and at 8pm! This just solidifies Sundays as posts day in case I decide to change the current schedule in the future.

The next three stats really gave me something to think about. I have 61 posts so far and only totaling 24,833 words? 😲 (Why do I feel like that is so little??)

I am extremely happy that 73 of you like my blog, it really means the world to me. However, the area of opportunity for me is engagement. I should really focus on how to engage my readers more and it is something I know I struggle with.

Overall, I feel like I had a good start to the year and am content with my stats. They aren’t something I want to obsess over but I do realize that they are the telling sign of when I’m doing well and when I’m not. I need them in order to become a better blogger and keep me within vision.

Lastly, I want to hear from you as to what you want to see more of and what feedback/constructive criticism you have to offer!

I really appreciate any feedback and the time you took to fill out above.
