Happy Friday bookworms!
I’ve been sick these last few days and needless to say, it’s been messing with my head. I’ve had such a hard time coming up with content for this week. So many bloggers are doing book reviews and I haven’t even finished the ARC I received yet! I keep being distracted by my Amazon shopping cart…haha…
Today’s book tag was found on Emily The Booknerd.
The Autumn Book Tag
Hot Chocolate – what is your comfort book?
My comfort book….My comfort book….The majority of books I love tend to rip my heart out so they arent really “comfort” books to say the least.
However, when I’m feeling the need for some mush, heart-warming, butterfly enducing, heart eye giving read; I re-read Wait for You by Jennifer L Armentrout.
Pumpkin Carving – what is your favorite creative outlet?
Aside from reading????
Drawing, sketching, doodling!
Falling Leaves – changes that appear bad but you secretly love?
When the Love interest changes in the sequels.
I love it when the first love interest we meet in a novel is not end game. Sometimes characters grow out of love as time goes on, they change into different people, and that type of love fades. When books show that progression, I tend to enjoy them just a tinsy witsy bit more.
Bonfire Night – what makes you explode with joy?
A new book. 100 out of 100 times, I will literally be overcome with joy if I get a new book or are gifted a book. Books are my favorite thing on this planet next to art.
Fright Night – favorite scary book or film
oof….There are so many scary films I love! I’m a scary film junky. Especially if they are supernatural related!
If I had to pick just one, The Conjuring is my current favorite.
Halloween candy – favorite candy to eat
As I’ve gotten older, I don’t really like candy anymore. It’s very very rare that I eat candy. Does that make me old? Haha…
I do enjoy jolly ranchers but can’t eat more than one a day or else I feel sick!
Scarves – your autumn ‘must-have’ accessory
Scarves! Burgundy and Black. Plum, Eggplant, Wine! No fall outfit is truly complete without a scarf!
Fire – a book or film that burns your soul
In a good way or bad way??
In a good way: The Vampire Academy Series (books)
In a bad way: The Twilight Film Adaptations
Toffee apples – a book or film that seems one thing but really has a different inside
The recent book that I can think of is Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer. You can read my review on it here!
